Women's Guild
The Women's Guild sponsors various events and fundraisers throughout the year. The last Saturday of November is the Christmas Fair, with lots of homemade craft and food items, a silent auction, a visit from Santa, and lots of reasonably-priced Christmas decorations.

In the summer the Guild organizes our famous Rummage Sale every Saturday morning from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Several bake sales throughout the year also bring in needed funds and give cheer to the community.

Deacons
The Deacons provide Christian service and leadership to the congregation in many areas of church life. Besides their important work in
ministering to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless, and to any who may be in distress, the Deacons provide food and serve coffee for numerous events throughout the year. They also work with the Fund Raising committee in our annual Valentine's Dinner Theater and other events as needed. The Deacons sponsor our Annual Ice Cream Social in July and assist with the annual Crop Walk in the Fall.
Elders
Elders, as officers of the Montauk Community Church, are expected to provide Christian leadership to the congregation in many areas of church life. Elders meet at Session with the Pastor once a month to discuss Church life and business. The Session offices and committees include: Clerk of Sessions, Worship Committee, Christian Education, Mission & Stewardship, Building and Grounds, Personnel & Finance, and Fund Raising. Each Elder serves actively on at least one Session Committee. Elders are responsible for monthly communion service, they inform the pastor and session of those persons and structures which may need special attention, and assist in worship. They should cultivate their ability to teach the Bible and may be authorized to fill in when the church is without the regular ministry of the Word and Sacrament.
